Jenala Daka is a passionate and dedicated dance professional with a rich background in coaching, choreography, and dance education. With degrees in Public Administration and International Affairs from Florida State University, Jenala has honed her expertise in various dance styles, including Jazz, Hip Hop, and Technique. She has successfully led competitive cheer and dance teams to victories at local, regional, and national levels.
Jenala’s experience includes roles as Assistant Company Director & Curriculum Director at Artistry Dance Alliance, Head Instructor at Universal Dance Association, and Coach at Island-All Stars. She has also trained in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) and completed the Shannon Mather Teacher Training Intensive. Recognized for her award-winning choreography, Jenala has received accolades such as the 2021 Georgia State Champ 3A/4A 1st place Hip Hop and 5th NDA Nationals D1A Hip Hop.
With a proven track record in effective communication, scheduling, and developing innovative training programs, Jenala brings a wealth of dance industry experience to Visions Dance Academy as Co-Director. Her specializations include dance video training, rhinestone and costume design, and performance mindset coaching.
